Trip to Victoria

leave a comment »

Julia took me to Victoria for a surprise birthday gift. We gathered up the kids early on Saturday May 6 and headed down to the Clipper for the 2.5 hour trip over. The kids were charming and happy, and gathered lots of attention. At the hotel the staff said "You’re like a walking advertisement for having kids!" My favorite meal was at Spinnaker’s on the northwest side of town. It was a bit of a walk out there (25 min), but a pretty one along a nice harbor trail with views of the town. Thanks, honey!

Couple of bugs still in local – the hotel and maritime museum are not in the right location on the map.
